Web Hosting Account FAQ
Can I pay by credit card?
We accept secure credit card payment through PayPal. Note that PayPal membership is optional when paying through the PayPal online payment processing system. We do not process credit card payment directly, and we do not hold any information related to your credit card. All credit card transactions are handled by PayPal.

Can I pay by cheque?
We accept Australian company and personal cheque. You will receive an invoice via email after the account signup has completed. Cheque payment details and instructions on where to send the payment will be included in the email. Note that hosting account will be setup only after cheque payment has been received and cleared.

Do the prices include Australian GST?
No, Aus-Web.com Web Services is currently not registered for GST. This may change in the future and the prices will be adjusted to reflect the GST component. If you are located outside of Australia, it is your responsibility to assess and submit any tax related information to the appropriate authority.

Recurring payment
Reminder for recurring payment will be sent to you via email 14 days before the due date. Payment must be received before the due date. Account will be suspended if payment is not received by the due date. AU$10 account re-activation fee will apply if payment is not received 5 days after the due date.

How long before my account is setup?
All payments are processed manually. For credit card payment through PayPal, account is usually setup within 24 hours (during weekdays) after the PayPal transaction has been confirmed. For cheque payment, account will be setup when cheque has been received and cleared. Note that the first recurring payment is due one month (for monthly payment, or quarterly for quarterly payment, and so on) from the date the account is setup, not from the date when the order was placed.

How do I cancel my account?
You can cancel your account at any time before your next recurring payment due date. Login to the Client Center and submit a support ticket for account cancellation, or send an email to cancellation@aus-web.com. Our billing department will contact you to confirm the cancellation request. Account will be terminated on the next recurring payment due date after the cancellation request has been confirmed. No refund will be issued for unused portion of your account. Note that account cancellation does NOT apply to domain name registration.

Is there a limit on disk space usage?
Each hosting plan is bundled with a fixed disk space quota. This quota includes all disk usage for web site content, database, and any files stored on the web server. This quota cannot be exceeded. There is no fixed disk space limit for individual mailboxes. However, if the total combined disk space usage between web hosting and mailboxes exceeded the allocated quota for the plan, over usage will be charged at 1 (one) Gig block per month at the advertised rate.
You can also pre-purchase additional quota at the advertised monthly rate, or pay for the over usage as required each month. Please note that unused portion of pre-purchased quota will not be refunded.

Is there a limit on network bandwidth usage?
Each hosting plan is bundled with a fixed network bandwidth allocation per month. This bandwidth allocation includes all network traffic to and from your web hosting account. If the network bandwidth usage exceeded the allocated limit for the plan, over usage will be charged at 1 (one) Gig block per month at the advertised rate.
You can also pre-purchase additional quota at the advertised monthly rate, or pay for the over usage as required each month. Please note that unused portion of pre-purchased quota will not be refunded.

Is there a limit on resource usage?
Acceptable and Fair Usage Policy applies for all shared hosting accounts. It is not practical nor feasible to offer unlimited resource usage in a shared hosting environment. If your hosting account is consuming unreasonable amount of resources - CPU, memory or other operating system resources, you will be requested to consider dedicated server or virtual dedicated server options. Please contact us if you are interested in dedicated hosting options.

How do I upgrade my web hosting account?
Additional network bandwidth and disk space can be pre-purchased at any time, or by upgrading to the next level of hosting plan. Login to the Client Center and submit an account upgrade support ticket and our billing department will contact you to finalise the details.
